The Manasquan Tourism Commission’s Fourth of July Gala Celebration has been moved to Saturday, July 5, in anticipation of inclement weather. The schedule remains the same, though, and we hope to see you there!
The day will begin with our annual Patriotic Bicycle Decorating Contest at 5:15 p.m. at the Little League Field.
A parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Manasquan Coast Guard Station and make its way up to the beach. A concert featuring Billy Lawlor will begin at 7:30 p.m.
After the concert, our fantastic fireworks display will follow. A big thank you to Leggett’s and The River House, who are sponsoring the event.
It’s that time again — Manasquan is gearing up for its annual Patriotic Celebration!
This year, the festivities will take place on Friday, July 5. The Patriotic Bicycle Decorating Contest, with prizes, will be held at the Little League Field on Second Avenue. It is open to ages 0 to 12 with four age categories. Please arrive at 5:30 p.m. Judging will take place at 5:45 p.m.
Then, at 6:30 p.m., our popular parade will kick off at the Squan Life Saving Station. Teens and adults with decorated bikes are welcome to join in the parade! And if you don’t feel like biking, join the hundreds of spectators that line the route.
The parade will end at Main Beach for an evening of music and fireworks. The Billy Lawlor Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. and the fireworks will kick off at dark.
