A huge thanks to everyone who attended our Summer 2013 Cocktail Kickoff at Leggett’s yesterday!
Manasquan Tourism Commission Chairman Ray Summers called the event a “huge success.” After a great turnout for the beach’s ribbon-cutting ceremony at Inlet Beach — which local, county and state officials attended — many kept the celebration going at Leggett’s Sand Bar right down the road.
Hundreds of people attended the party, and the winner of our 50-50 took home more than $700.
It seems like warm weather is finally becoming almost as consistent as the thin layer of pollen covering the Jersey Shore — and with that comes the tourism commission’s Summer 2013 Cocktail Kickoff!
That’s right, tomorrow’s the big day: we’ll have a ribbon cutting at Inlet Beach at 4:45 p.m. followed by a cocktail party at Leggett’s Sand Bar from 5 to 8 p.m. There will be a full buffet and a drink available for just $15, and we’ll also be holding a 50/50.
So come on out, and we can’t wait to see you there! If anything changes weather-wise, please keep up to date here.
